No Father Left Behind exists to build a culture where fatherhood is celebrated, supported, and empowered. Our mission is to create a community where every father feels seen, valued, and equipped to thrive. We honor the diverse faces of fatherhood by providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities for fathers to grow, heal, and give back. Beyond support, our purpose is transformation to empower fathers to nurture youth, promote mental and psychological well-being, and cultivate a legacy of love, leadership, and unity that transcends generations.

About Us

No Father Left Behind was born out of a simple promise and a moment that changed everything.

While working as a GED teacher at a county jail, our founder, Shaquille Armstrong, met an inmate who was determined to pass his exam. Shaquille promised him that if he succeeded, he would ask the Sheriff for a small gift or token to celebrate his achievement. The inmate worked hard, and when he finally passed, Shaquille kept his word and asked him what gift he wanted.

Ways to Get Involved

A Guide-Father is a volunteer mentor who walks alongside other fathers on their journey of personal growth, family restoration, and relational healing. Guide-Fathers serve as pillars of wisdom, encouragement, and nonjudgmental support. They lead by example and are committed to helping fellow fathers reclaim their roles and responsibilities with confidence, dignity, and hope.
